Best Family SUV Deals — June 2026

Three-row SUVs head into the summer road-trip season with healthier inventory than a year ago, and June's incentives reflect it — good timing if you're hauling a family. Domestic models (Explorer, Traverse, Atlas) carry the strongest cash; the popular Korean twins (Telluride, Palisade) are finally seeing real lease support; and Toyota and Honda stay disciplined as always. All lease examples use 36-month/10,000-mile terms; all programs expire June 30, 2026.

Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade

The segment's value darlings, and for the first time in a while there's meaningful support on both.

Kia TellurideLX$409/mo lease$3,999 due
Kia TellurideEX3.9% APR60 months
Hyundai PalisadeSEL$419/mo lease$3,999 due
Hyundai PalisadeSEL2.9% APR + class="relative z-10",000 cash60 months
  • The Palisade's 2.9% + class="relative z-10",000 stack is the better finance deal of the twins this month.
  • Both rarely lease well, so the sub-$420 payments genuinely got my attention. See my Telluride vs Palisade comparison — and if you're eyeing a Palisade, check the power-seat recall status before delivery.

Toyota and Honda

Honda PilotSport$429/mo lease$3,999 due
Honda PilotEX-L3.99% APR60 months
Toyota Grand HighlanderXLE4.99% APR60 months
Toyota HighlanderLE4.49% APR60 months
  • Honda's Pilot lease is the most aggressive of the Japanese three-rows in June.
  • Toyota offers no cash on either Highlander; resale is the whole argument. My Grand Highlander vs Pilot comparison breaks down which is the better buy.

Domestic three-rows

This is where the cash is, thanks to high inventory.

ModelTrimProgramTerms
Ford ExplorerXLT$2,500 cashAny financing
Chevrolet TraverseLT0.9% APR48 months
Volkswagen AtlasSE$3,000 cashAny financing
Jeep Grand Cherokee LLaredo$3,500 cashAny financing
  • The Jeep Grand Cherokee L at $3,500 cash is the largest single incentive in the segment this month.
  • VW's $3,000 on the Atlas makes it one of the cheapest ways into a genuinely big three-row.
  • Chevy's 0.9% Traverse financing is the best low-rate option if you'd rather not take cash.

How to use these numbers

Domestic = cash, Japanese/Korean = rate or lease. The Explorer, Atlas, and Grand Cherokee L are carrying real money on the hood because inventory is high. The Telluride, Pilot, and Highlander hold value better, so they discount through lease support and low APR instead. Shop the structure that fits how you pay.

Three-row leases reward low-mileage families. Mostly school runs and the occasional trip? A $409–$429 lease on a $45,000 SUV is strong value. Road-trip constantly and rack up 15,000-plus miles? Buy instead — the overage penalties erase the savings.

Resale vs discount is the real decision. A discounted Explorer costs less today; a Telluride or Highlander costs less over a full ownership cycle because of resale. Decide based on how long you keep cars — I always make people answer that first.

Month-end is your window. These run through June 30, and three-row inventory is high enough that the final week gives you genuine negotiating room. For the broader picture, see my best lease deals for June 2026.
