May is one of the better months for financing deals. Memorial Day weekend is the spring's flagship sales event, and most manufacturers stack bonus cash or subsidized APR on top of regular programs through the end of the month. Below are the strongest APR programs on new vehicles available right now.

All offers are for well-qualified buyers (typically 720+ credit score). Rates for buyers with lower scores will be higher. Programs expire May 31 unless noted.

How to use these numbers

A 0% deal beats cash back most of the time, but not always. If your credit score is below 700, you may not qualify for 0% from the captive lender. In that case, compare the dealer financing rate to a pre-approval from your bank or credit union before you walk in. For guidance on how to approach that, see how to finance a new car in 2026.

The Memorial Day weekend window (May 23–26) is when dealers are most motivated. Programs don't change but dealer willingness to front additional discount does.

What's not on this list

Tariff-affected imports from Japan and Europe (Toyota Corolla Cross, BMW 3-series, Audi A4) are seeing reduced manufacturer incentives this month, not increased ones. Automakers absorbed some of the April 3 tariff hit to protect transaction prices, leaving less room for financing subsidies. If you're cross-shopping an import against a domestic build, the domestic's financing program will look significantly better right now.

Deal details change frequently. Always confirm terms with the dealer before purchase.
